This photo seemed an appropriate way to announce that I got into the trial! We feel such relief to finally have a solid plan for treatments for the months to come. Feels like the first step to finding our sea legs in this process.

Photo taken on the side of the road in Resende, Portugal (Oct 2018). I’ve always had an affinity for these wind turbines. There were miles of them outside Livermore, CA, the town where I grew up. When my family would return home from a road trip my siblings and I would see the turbines and call out “Propeller Land!” with delight- a signal that we were nearly home. It pleased me when I saw these in Portugal, so we took the moment to enjoy the breath of this landscape. Lil bit cheesy photo, but I love it.
